The maiden edition of the David Wilberforce Kwami Dawson Centenary Memorial Awards has been held at the College of Architecture and Planning, KNUST. The award was given to two students an undergraduate, Vida Agra Sena Aku and a post graduate student Marfo Thomas Ntiamoah. The two awardees are students with the highest Cumulative Weighted Average (CWA)

A two member delegation from Datalink Institute an affiliate of KNUST, has paid a brief visit to KNUST. The delegation was made up of Prof. Rose Joshua and Mrs. Ingrid Ansah. The visit was in connection with a Nursing Programme that is yet to be mounted at Datalink institute.
The Board of Trustees of the Poku Transport Endowment Fund has presented this year’s edition of the Scholarship awards instituted some years back to deserving brilliant students. This award was given to five students from five different faculties in the University.

A five-man delegation from Uganda has paid a visit to KNUST for the purpose of bench-marking best practices in education, administration and legal issues in higher institutions. The delegation comprised members of the Ugandan Parliament and some senior staff from the Makerere University.
