Professor William Otoo Ellis, the Vice-Chancellor, has announced plans by KNUST to run programmes for the military. The Institute of Distance Learning (IDL) of KNUST would from the 2011/ 2012 academic year introduce two new programmes namely, Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Technology and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Health Informatics.
