The Hulede Foundation is a foundation that offers a One-year Scholarship to Brilliant, but Needy Students to enable them to pursue their University Education. The effective application period ends on Sunday, January 25, 2026

Eligibility

This call is open to all continuing Ghanaian students, who are Brilliant but Needy, studying in KNUST and pursuing a full-time REGULAR programme.

Fresh Applicants (Students applying for the first time)

• All regular continuing Ghanaian students with a CWA of 65 or higher
• 1st year students are NOT eligible to apply, since their fees are catered for by the No Fees Stress Policy.
• Final-year first-time applicants must complete 40 hours of community service and submit proof by the stated deadline. Please visit the Directorate of Student Affairs to collect a Hulede Foundation T-shirt, which must be worn during the service.

Former Beneficiaries (Students applying for a renewal of the Scholarship)

• All prospective final year scholars must have completed a minimum of 80-hour community Service, with submissions.
• All other scholars must have completed a minimum of 40-hour community service, with submissions

Requirements

All prospective applicants should include the following documents in their applications:

• Academic Transcript (Endorsed)
• One page proof of financial need on “Why You Think You Should Be Considered for This Scholarship?"
• At least two Recommendation letters
• Other awards or certificates (if any)

Please Note

• Applicants who follow the Hulede Foundation on social media are prioritized.
• Any write-up should be typed in the font Times New Roman, size 12 and double-spaced.
• Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview.
