ACCESS COURSE DETAILS

• Duration: Monday, 27th April to Friday, 15th May 2026
• Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily
• Venue: School of Medical Sciences, KNUST Boadi Medical Enclave

• Access Course Fee: Three Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 3,000.00)

ACCESS COURSE CONTENT

The Access Course will cover the following subject areas:

• Biological Chemistry
• Fundamentals of Anatomy
• Fundamentals of Biochemistry
• Fundamentals of Microbiology
• Fundamentals of Pharmacology
• Fundamentals of Physiology
• Logic and Reasoning
• Quantitative Methods

EXAMINATION

At the end of the Access Course:

• An examination will be administered by the SMS-GEMP Secretariat.
• Only Successful candidates will be invited for a selection interview.

SELECTION INTERVIEW DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS

Successful Applicants are required to present the following at the interview:

1. Two (2) recent endorsed passport-sized photographs
2. Two (2) endorsed recommendation letters from academic referees
3. Original Copies of Senior High School and Degree certificates for inspection
4. A copy of a recent (past six months) bank statement and other financial documents showing proof of ability to pay fees, including:
   • Sponsor's address, and
   • A signed letter of support from the sponsor undertaking to pay all fees (Support Letter Template will be given to successful candidates)

ACCOMMODATION

Optional accommodation is available at Africa Hall, KNUST, for participants of the Access Course.
