11TH KNUST Summer School

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Summer School is an annual capacity-building programme designed to foster academic, administrative, and professional excellence among members of the University community. Since its inception in 2011, the Summer School has provided a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing, peer learning, and professional development on emerging trends and innovations in higher education.

In this year’s edition, KNUST Summer School continues its tradition of engaging faculty, staff, and other stakeholders in thought-provoking dialogue and hands-on training sessions.

The 11th KNUST Summer School is on theme: “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education”. The theme reflects the University’s commitment to exploring and harnessing the transformative potential of AI to enhance teaching, learning, research, and administration.

Overview of the 11th KNUST Summer School

The 2025 Edition of the KNUST Summer School is scheduled as follows:

Main Theme: Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education

Date: Tuesday, 21st to Thursday, 23rd October, 2025

This year’s edition will begin with a plenary session on day one at the Great Hall of the University, where all participants will converge for keynote addresses, panel discussions, and expert presentations from renowned local and international speakers. Subsequent sessions will feature college and unit specific sub-themes that explore AI’s application within various disciplines and administrative contexts.
