59th Special Congregation
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi announces for the information of Graduands and the General Public that the 59th Special Congregation Ceremonies will be held from Wednesday, 25th - Saturday, 28th March, 2026.
GRADUANDS who completed their Programmes of Study after the 59th Congregation (November, 2025) should pay the Graduation Fee of GHȻ 600.00 at any of the following KNUST Accredited Banks: GCB, CBG, Cal Bank, Fidelity, OmniBisc, or pay online via pay.knust.edu.gh. Log in with your student credentials and select graduation fees to make payment.
The Graduation Fee covers: Congregation Publications, Graduation Medal, Certificate Holder, University Souvenirs, Graduation Photographs and Administrative Costs.
Graduands are required to provide the following information at the Bank:
- Name
- Programme of Study
- Examination Index Number
- Student ID Number
- Contact Address
- Telephone Number
- Email Address
Collection of Gowns
After payment of the Graduation Fees, graduands are to present their receipts to collect their Academic Gown and Graduation Souvenirs at the following designated points from Monday, 23rd March, 2026.
- All Undergraduate and Diploma Programmes – Independence Hall
- All Masters Programmes – Republic and Queen Elizabeth II Halls
- All PhD Programmes – Great Hall Foyer
Rehearsals
Rehearsals for Graduands attending the Congregation would be held at the Great Hall, KNUST as follows:

Graduands are expected to be seated THIRTY (30) MINUTES before the commencement of each Programme in the Academic Gown appropriate to their Programme of Study or College and worn preferably over a suit/jacket with a University Tie or other formal dress. Note that slippers are not allowed.
