This is to inform Members of Convocation that the Office of Pro Vice-Chancellor shall become vacant on 1st October, 2024.

The Vice-Chancellor has, in accordance with Statute 13(b), nominated the following persons for the position of Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University:

1. Professor Charles Frimpong, Department of Industrial Art
2. Professor Helen Michelle Korkor Essandoh, Department of Civil Engineering
3. Professor David Asamoah, Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems

Accordingly, election for Pro Vice-Chancellor has been scheduled as follows:

• Date: Tuesday, 17th September, 2024
• Time: 0800 Hours - 1400 Hours
• Venue: Great Hall Foyer, The Clinical Students Hostel, KATH, and KNUST Obuasi Campus, Obuasi

Any Member of Convocation who may not be on campus and wishes to vote by PROXY shall PERSONALLY collect a Proxy Form from the Registrar's Office or through a signed request via email; registrar@knust.edu.gh. The completed Forms shall be submitted to the Returning Officer (Registrar) not later than 1600 hours, on 16th September, 2024. Anybody nominated to vote by Proxy must come with a copy of the proxy form, failing which the said Proxy shall be deemed invalid. No proxies shall be given to any candidate.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CATEGORIES OF PART-TIME/ADJUNCT STAFF ARE INELIGIBLE TO VOTE.
