KNUST Bursary offers a one-year Bursary to Brilliant but Needy Students to enable them to pursue their University Education at KNUST.

ELIGIBILITY

The Bursary is open to ONLY Regular Ghanaian students who are Brilliant but Needy and are pursuing full-time programmes.

Kindly Note that with the KNUST Bursary:

1. Final year students are not eligible
2. Fee-paying and Parallel students are not eligible to apply.
3. Continuing students on any other scholarship/bursary above GHȻ 1,500.00 are not eligible
4. Only Students with CWA of 67 and above are eligible to apply.
5. Students who have already applied for the SRC-KBN Bursary are not eligible to apply.

REQUIREMENTS

All prospective applicants are to include the following documents in their applications:

1. Complete Application Form (Signed and Officially Stamped by a Referee)
2. Statement of need
3. Admission letter
4. Results Slip SIGNED AND OFFICIALLY STAMPED By Exams Officer, Head of Department, or Academic Supervisor.
5. Awards and Certificates, if any (Photocopies only)

PLEASE NOTE

• All applicants must complete the online registration before submitting the required documents via this link: (HERE!)
• All documents must be in a sealed envelope with the Applicant’s name, programme, college, reference number, current year and phone number boldly written on it.
• Applications submitted without completing the online registration will be disqualified
• Submission of documents should be done at the Directorate of Student Affairs, J. Harper Building, Room 19
• Any write-up should be typed with the font Times New Roman, size 12 and double-spaced.
• No Application will be accepted after the deadline. 
• Applicants from the Obuasi campus should submit their application forms to the Registrar’s Office-Obuasi campus.
