The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST) alumnus Mr. Salifu Abubakari has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director of Activa International Insurance Ghana, effective February 2026.

Mr. Abubakari brings over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, underpinned by strong academic training and professional expertise.

In addition to his new leadership role, Mr. Abubakari has been appointed President of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Society West Africa, a respected professional body dedicated to advancing excellence and ethical standards in property and casualty insurance practice.

The dual appointments highlight his professional credibility, leadership acumen, and commitment to advancing the insurance sector.
