Professor Edmund Ekuadzi, a pharmacognosist and researcher in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, has been appointed Acting Dean of the International Programmes Office (IPO).
Prof. Ekuadzi has been instrumental in expanding KNUST’s global partnerships through academic exchanges, collaborative research, and student mobility initiatives.
His research explores the chemistry of medicinal plants, drug discovery, and the development of herbal medicines for both local and international markets.
As Dean, he will spearhead KNUST’s internationalisation strategy, fostering sustainable partnerships with universities, research institutions, and development organisations worldwide. His vision is to position KNUST as a globally competitive institution that nurtures cross-cultural learning and international research collaboration.
