Team KNUST has once again demonstrated its intellectual prowess by securing second place out of eight participating universities in the highly competitive Amnesty International Debate.
The contest, which brought together some of the sharpest minds from across the country, provided a platform for students to showcase their debating skills on pressing human rights and social justice issues.
Representing KNUST with distinction were: Andy Amanfu, Principal Speaker & 2nd Supporting; Florence Oforiwaa Offei, 1st Supporting and Nana Agyei-Gyebi, Principal Speaker, who also emerged as the Overall 3rd Best Speaker of the competition.
Their performance combined critical analysis, persuasive communication, and teamwork, earning admiration from both the judges and fellow competitors.
The Amnesty International Debate is recognized as one of the foremost platforms for grooming the next generation of thought leaders and advocates, challenging students to engage deeply with national and global concerns.
