Sunda International has donated hygiene essentials worth approximately GHS 10,000 to the Hygiene Essentials Bank of the Directorate of Students’ Affairs (DoSA) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
The donation included 25 boxes of sanitary pads, 10 bags of detergent, and 5 boxes of soap.
This initiative aims to support students’ hygiene needs and aligns with the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to promote personal hygiene and well-being among students.

During the presentation of the items, Mr. Thomas Ameah Junior, the Sales and Marketing Manager at Sunda International, highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting young individuals, particularly female students who face challenges in affording sanitary products.
“We have realized that some young ladies struggle to access sanitary pads, so we decided to support them to ensure their well-being and dignity,” he stated.
He also reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to this initiative.
“We have decided to continuously support DoSA on this project annually, providing even more hygiene essentials than we have this year.”

Professor Marian Asantewah Nkansah, Director of Student Affairs at KNUST, expressed her gratitude to Sunda International for their generosity.
She emphasized the significance of the Hygiene Essentials Bank, which will be officially launched on 13th March 2025, during DoSA Day.
“This donation will go a long way in ensuring that students, especially those in need, have access to essential hygiene products. We are grateful for this thoughtful gesture and look forward to continued collaboration,” she stated.
The Hygiene Essentials Bank is an initiative by DoSA aimed at providing students with easy access to personal hygiene products, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their well-being.
