The Director of Student Affairs at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Professor Marian Asantewah Nkansah, has recognised service, motivating excellence and strengthening teamwork within the Directorate of Students’ Affairs (DoSA).
The second edition of the event brought together staff from all sections of the Directorate in an informal setting to acknowledge their efforts over the year and foster collegial interaction.
Professor Nkansah said the end-of-year Director’s Talk and appreciation gathering were designed to encourage staff to sustain high standards of professionalism and improve service delivery in the year ahead, particularly as the Directorate prepares to receive and support incoming first-year students.
She said the initiative was part of a broader effort to build a motivated workforce capable of responding effectively to the needs of students, who form the Directorate’s primary clientele.
Professor Nkansah expressed hope that the appreciation event, alongside other staff-focused initiatives, would become a permanent feature of the Directorate’s calendar.
In her end-of-year message, she urged staff to remain grateful for life and for the opportunity to serve the country through their work at DoSA, adding that resilience, a positive attitude, healthy working relationships and a strong sense of duty would enable the Directorate to continue to excel.
She also wished staff a merry Christmas and a productive and prosperous new year.
