Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) Top Up Class of 2020 has donated four (4) sets of 8th Generation Dell desktop computers to the Department of Pharmacy Practice of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPPS) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST).
Mr. Richmond Adusa-Poku, Garrison Pharmacy, Mrs. Antoinette Yawa Osei-Kufuor, Cocoa Clinic and Miss. Gloria Ohene Takyi, a registered pharmacist donated the laptops on behalf of the class.
The President of the Class, Mr. Richmond Adusa-Poku, said the donation was made in line with the vision of the Vice-Chancellor in making KNUST a digitized institution. He added that, their gesture was also to show immense appreciation to the Faculty for their time and contribution towards the academic progress of the Class, he added.
The Dean of FPPS, Professor Berko Panyin Anto, on behalf of the Faculty thanked the class for giving back to the Faculty. According to him, the alumni of FPPS has indeed been instrumental in the development of the Faculty.
Also present at the presentation ceremony were Prof. George Kufour, Prof. Stephen Gbedemah and Prof. Kwame Ohene Buabeng, Heads of Department for the Departments of Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacy Practice respectively and Prof. Mrs Frances Owusu-Daako, former Head, Department of Pharmacy Practice.
