The Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Prof. David Asamoah, and the leadership of the University’s Confucius Institute have been hosted at the Huawei Research Institute in Beijing.

The delegation included the Ghanaian Director of the Confucius Institute at KNUST, Prof. Daniel Y. A. Duah, and the immediate past Chinese Director, Prof. Su Zibo.

The team toured Huawei’s state-of-the-art IT research facility, where they were introduced to emerging digital innovations and advanced technology solutions.

Prof. Asamoah described the visit as highly promising for future collaboration.
“As a leading science and technology university in Africa, the tour was very insightful and we’re excited about the potential partnership and opportunities for mutual benefit,” he said.
