Clinton Yeboah, a journalist with Luv FM and alumnus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi has been named a finalist for the 2025 West Africa Media Excellence Conference and Awards (WAMECA).
Yeboah was selected from 793 entries submitted by journalists across West Africa. The awards, organized by the Media Foundation for West Africa, recognize outstanding journalism that promotes transparency, accountability, and democratic governance.
A graduate of KNUST’s Department of Language and Communication Sciences, Yeboah has gained national and international recognition for his investigative reporting.
In 2023, he was named Student Journalist of the Year at the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards. He also placed second at the Vice-Chancellor’s Student Excellence Awards, which honor exceptional student contributions to leadership, innovation, and impact.
Yeboah’s work has focused on infrastructure neglect, youth development, and governance. In 2023, he was honored at the AIPS Sport Media Awards in Barcelona, placing fourth globally in the Young Reporters (Broadcasting) category for his feature on the Nyinahin Sports Complex.
He currently reports for Luv FM, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group, where he covers development, education, and human interest stories.
