Activities included a workshop for both children and adult participants facilitated by the Child Evangelism Fellowship, Ghana, Puppet Ministry by Kids Around the World, Ghana, Talent Hunt Competition where the winner would be given the opportunity to attend the Kidsong Conference in Australia, among others.
Speaking in a Press Briefing, Dr. Frances Owusu-Daaku, Chairman, Children Sunday School (CSS), KNUST said that it was necessary for maximum attention to be shifted on to the plight of children. The Northern Sector Coordinator for Kids Around the World, Mr. Philip Okanteh, expressed delight in the enthusiasm of the children participants and entreated parents to massively participate in the next conference since the organizers have drawn programmes to benefit parents and other adult participants.
