A two-member delegation from Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB Bank) have paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi at the Council Chamber of the University on 28th June 2024.

According to Mr. Emmanuel Ofori-Dankwah, the Head of the Support Services Department at the GCB Bank, the visit was to explore the possibility of forming a partnership with the Centre for Applied Research and Innovation in Supply Chain-Africa (CARISCA) at the KNUST School of Business. He highlighted that such collaboration would enable the Bank to gather valuable feedback, which in turn would help the GCB Bank to better serve its clients. He emphasised the Bank’s intention to strengthen its partnership with KNUST through the collaboration. He thanked the Vice-Chancellor for the warm reception and hoped the collaboration would open more doors for mutual benefits.

Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson, the Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, assured the team of the University Management's full support for the collaboration. She hoped for more future collaborations that would strengthen the relationship between GCB Bank and KNUST.
Mr. Evans Kwasi Ankomah Jnr., Client Relations Manager at CARISCA, underscored the potential benefits that the collaboration could bring to both the Bank and the University, particularly in the areas of research and innovation in the Supply Chain Sector.
