The Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA), KNUST Chapter, has congratulated 29 of its members on their elevation to higher ranks across various departments of the University.

The newly appointed officers serve in diverse units including the Registrar’s Offices, University Stores, Finance Office, Internal Audit, Procurement Office, Estate Organisation, the University Information Technology Services (UITS), JHS, KNUST Pre-School and the KNUST Counselling Centre (KCC).

Among those promoted are Mrs. Theresa Anyimadu (JHS) and Mrs. Olivia Ayensu (KNUST Pre-School), both elevated to the rank of Deputy Head. Ms. Esther K. Samwini (KCC) has been appointed Assistant Counsellor.

Several officers from the Registrar’s Offices, including Mrs. Bridget Agbenorku Jnr., Ms. Judith N. Agyeman-Prempeh, Ms. Joyce O. Tutu, Ms. Bintu Suhailu, Ms. Vida O. Mensah and Mr. Alex A. K. Weyeamo-Kubati, have all been promoted to the grade of Junior Assistant Registrar.

The University Stores also recorded new appointments, with Mr. Richard Kyei, Mr. James K. Boateng and Mr. Nana K. Adjei all promoted to the rank of Assistant Stores Officer. Additionally, Mrs. Charlotte P. F. Nyarko and Mrs. Adwoa S. F. Yeboah from the Estate Department have been elevated to Junior Assistant Estate Officer and Assistant Estate Officer respectively.

In the technology space, Mr. Collins Kyere has been promoted to Junior Systems Analyst, while Mr. Francis Akabo moves to the rank of Systems Analyst, both in the University Information Technology Services (UITS).

Promotions were also recorded in governance-related units, including the Internal Audit Unit where Mrs. Charlotte D. Sey and Mrs. Regina D. Owusu-Asare have been elevated to Junior Assistant Internal Auditor. The Procurement Office also saw Mr. John M. Dadzie move to the role of Assistant Procurement Officer.

The Finance Office recorded the highest cluster of new appointments with Mr. Emmanuel N. Nti, Mr. Kwaku Tweneboah, Mr. Benjamin A. Amankwah, Ms. Victoria Seledzi, Ms. Gifty Opoku, Ms. Gloria O. Afriyie and Mrs. Francisca Owusu-Appiah all promoted to Assistant Accountant. In addition, Mrs. Comfort E. A. Amekudzi, Mr. Talata S. Tosum and Mrs. Eunice S. G. Ampofo were appointed to the same rank.
