Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), an Instrument of Affiliation and Affiliation Agreement with Entrance University College of Health Sciences (EUCHS) to enhance partnership through institutional affiliation.
The agreement between the two institutions confers on EUCHS the right to offer a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) programme leading to a joint award of certificate with KNUST.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso, in his remark, stated that KNUST will exercise oversight responsibility over EUCHS particularly towards quality teaching, research, evaluations and periodic review of curricula. He urged the affiliated institution to abide by the tenets of the affiliation agreement in order for the partnership to be a success. He was optimistic that EUCHS would become the best private institution to offer Pharm.D.
The Rector of EUCHS, Dr. Joseph Adotey, in his address, expressed gratitude to the University management and promised to abide by the terms of affiliation.
Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso and Mr. Andrews Kwasi Boateng, Registrar, signed on behalf of KNUST while Dr. Joseph Adotey, Rector, and Mr. Francis Atoo Asigri, Registrar signed on behalf of EUCHS. The MoU, which would be for an initial period of four (4) years, would be reviewed by mutual consent.
