He encouraged his colleagues to exhibit what they have learnt to effect changes in the society. He added that their certificates would become useful only when they impact on people’s life positively. He also thanked their lecturers for shaping them into who they have become.
In his motivational speech, Teknokrat Alexander Kwaku Yeboah, a Reverend Minister, advised the fresh graduates to be observant, analytical, organised in all their endeavours and to live a life of integrity. He encouraged them to read anything they find when they go out there. Using his life as an example, Rev. Yeboah encouraged the graduates not to give up but persevere and inculcate the right attitude. He observed that the technological era in which they find themselves requires that graduates should appreciate science and make use of technology to create jobs to serve humanity. He then used the opportunity to thank the Vice-Chancellor and Management of the University for the massive development of the University.
Giving the graduating statistics, Professor Imoro Braimah revealed that out of the total number, 158 graduating students were presented from the Faculty of Law, 1,095 students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and 299 from the School of Business.
