The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vesterline Company Limited, Mr. Anthony Acquah, has donated fifteen (15) laptops to support the Vice-Chancellor’s Support One Needy Student with One Laptop (SONSOL) Project. This is an initiative by the Vice-Chancellor to provide brilliant but needy students with laptops to facilitate virtual learning.

During the presentation, Mr. Acquah expressed his gratitude for being able to contribute to such a meaningful initiative and highlighted the importance of digital devices for students in modern education. He, further, announced plans to donate an additional ten (10) laptops in the near future.

The Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson, expressed immense gratitude to the CEO of Vesterline for his generous donation towards the promotion of quality and inclusive education. She emphasised that the initiative is not just a project but an obligation she feels as the Vice-Chancellor, to ensure that students can continue their education regardless of their circumstances.
She reiterated her commitment to helping students access virtual learning, which has become an essential mode of education and encouraged other organisations, corporate bodies, and philanthropists to also extend support to the SONSOL Project.
