The Chief Executive Officer of Ultimate Hostel and Ultimate Fashion, Mr. William Addo, has donated 50 brand-new HP laptops to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. The donation is in line with the vision to Support One Needy Student with One Laptop dubbed the “SONSOL Project”, an initiative by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson. The presentation ceremony was held at the Council Chamber on Tuesday, 8th March, 2023.

Presenting the laptops, Mr. William Addo expressed his enthusiasm and commitment to providing essential support to brilliant but needy students. He also praised the Vice-Chancellor for her tireless efforts to solve the accommodation problems facing students and commended her vision for the SONSOL Project. He stated that it was an honour for him to be able to provide the laptops to support the academic pursuits of deserving students, and he promised that this would not be the last time he would do so.

The Vice-Chancellor, in her response, expressed her gratitude to Mr. William Addo for his generous gesture. She applauded him for his tremendous contribution to helping solve students' accommodation issues on campus. She added that such acts of kindness and generosity serve as an inspiration to students and the wider University community. She used the opportunity to appeal to other businesses to join the initiative and support the project.
Present at the donation were Professor Jerry John Kponyo, Dean of Quality Assurance and Planning Office; Professor Michael Poku-Boansi, Deputy Director of the School of Graduate Studies and Mr. Eric Kwadwo Amankwah, CEO of PC-Origin.
