Professor Ellis Owusu-Dabo has been appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has held its first virtual congregation ceremony for graduates of the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The University chose this mode of graduation for this year owing to restrictions placed on public gathering by government due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In line with the Vice-Chancellor’s vision to support one needy student with one laptop dubbed ‘SONSOL PROJECT’, Absa Bank Ghana Limited has donated Fifty (50) brand-new Lenovo laptop computers to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The women’s wing of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) has honoured Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson on her achievement as the first female Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. The team presented a citation when they paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor at the Council Chamber.

The Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) through the Quality Assurance and Planning Unit has set up a 28-member committee to train academic staff on the use of Moodle. Moodle is an open-source learning management system for online teaching and learning.

A team of students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has won the 2020 national experiential learning competition for the 4th time in a row. This was made known when the team paid a courtesy call on the Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark Adom Asamoah.

Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson, Vice-Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi has visited various key partners in Accra. She, together with her team, paid courtesy calls on the NCTE, ABSA Ghana, Vodafone Ghana, Ecobank Ghana, Stanbic Group and KNUST Guest House.

Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi has inaugurated sub-committees of the Quality Assurance and Planning Unit (QAPU) on 25th August 2020 at the Amonoo-Neizer Conference room.
