The School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Ashanti Region have organised a workshop for poultry farmers in Nsuta, a community in the Sekyere Central District, Ashanti Region.

The KNUST Chapter of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA) has sworn in newly elected executives for the Association at the Great Hall Conference Room. 

The 1994-Year Group of the Land Economy Department of the College of Art and Built Environment (CABE), KNUST, has donated two Intel Dual Core, 4GB RAM Lenovo laptops, a 65-inch Smart Television and an EPSON projector with a wall mount screen to the Department.

Executives of the Interim Student Representative Council (ISRC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi have paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson on 6th August 2020 at the Council Chamber. The visit was to formally introduce the newly appointed executives to the Vice-Chancellor.

The Governing Council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi has inaugurated Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson into the high office of Vice Chancellor on Saturday, 1st August, 2020 at the Great Hall, KNUST. The astute Professor of Pharmacognosy becomes the 11th Vice-Chancellor of KNUST and the 1st Female to occupy that prestigious Office.

The 2001-year group of the Land Economy Department of the College of Art and Built Environment, KNUST, has donated a cheque of GH₵35,000 to the Department. Mr. David Opoku, Judicial Service, Ghana, Mrs. Regina Rockson, an administrator at Stool Lands and Dawood Abbas of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) made the donation on behalf of the class.

Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) together with Staff of School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) has commissioned a Pet Lodge and Histopathology Laboratory on 23rd July 2020. The facilities are both located at SVM, KNUST.

The Department of Animal Science of the Faculty of Agriculture, KNUST in collaboration with Rabbit Farmers Association of Ghana, and the Department of Agriculture, Ashanti Region have organised a three-day workshop dubbed “Training for Trainers (ToT)” for Rabbit Farm Trainers.
