KNUST Basic School has donated to Life Community Special Vocational School, Deduako and King Jesus Charity Home, Boadi. A delegation comprising staff and students paid the visit to the children and officials of both homes to support their Christmas celebrations.
Three (3) Universities from the Republic of Sierra Leone have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The signing ceremony took place at the Council Chamber of KNUST.
The Debate Team of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) made history as they emerged winners of the 2018 Pan-African Universities Debate Championship (PAUDC) held at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Mr. Isaac Boakye Nyamekye and Mr.
Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso, the Vice Chancellor of KNUST has mentioned the unbalanced student-teacher ratio as one of the biggest challenges the institution faces. He stated that in recent times, the student populace keeps increasing making the student-teacher ratio uneven and hence called for more lecturers.
CiMAF Ghana Limited of Ciments de L’ Afrique (CiMAF), Morrocan Cement producer, has donated three hundred (300) bags of cement valued at nine thousand six hundred Ghana Cedis (₵9,600) to the College of Art and Built Environment (CABE) towards the construction of the six-storey lecture halls and offices Complex for the College.
