The Ghana Muslim Students’ Association (GMSA) at KNUST concluded their Eid al-Fitr celebrations with a football tournament at the KNUST Maa Joe Stadium.
The event, designed to foster unity among members, featured exciting matches between student groups.
Teams comprised committee members, officers, and executives on one side, and second, third, and final-year students competing in their respective groups.
The opening match saw the committee team face the second-year students, who won 1-0.
The second game, an intense contest between the third and final-year students, ended with a victory for the third-year team.
In the grand finale, the second-year team secured the championship title through strong teamwork.

Umar Issah Alhaji, College Wing Coordinator, expressed his satisfaction with the event’s success, emphasizing the importance of these gatherings in strengthening bonds within the Muslim student community.
He commended the players for their enthusiasm and the organizers for their efforts in creating a memorable celebration.
