Papnoble Ventures Ghana Ltd has donated 10 new HP laptops to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in support of the Vice-Chancellor’s “Support One Needy Student with One Laptop” (SONSOL) project.

Founder and Managing Director Mr. Noble Kwadwo Tay said the decision to contribute again stemmed from a touching experience during a previous donation.
“After the presentation of laptops last year, I witnessed some students break down in tears because they couldn’t benefit from the limited number. That moment touched me deeply, and I had to add two more laptops then. This year, I decided to come back and continue supporting,” he said.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Rita Akosua Dickson expressed appreciation for Mr. Tay’s continued commitment to supporting brilliant but needy students. She reaffirmed the university’s dedication to ensuring the laptops reach those who genuinely need them.
Professor Dickson called on other philanthropists and corporate bodies to emulate the gesture, stressing that the SONSOL project aims to close the digital divide among the university’s student population.
