Theme: African WEFE Nexus Summit: Harnessing Resources for Sustainable Climate-Smart Water-Secure Development.

The African Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem (WEFE) Nexus Summit 2026 will bring together researchers, policymakers, development practitioners, industry leaders and other stakeholders to explore innovative and integrated approaches to addressing Africa's water, energy, food and ecosystem challenges.

The summit aims to promote collaboration, knowledge exchange and sustainable solutions that strengthen climate resilience, improve resource management and advance sustainable development across the continent.

Organisers: TCC-CIMET, TRANS-SAHARA Agro-Forestry Living Labs Demonstration, and the Technical University of Munich (TUM), together with project partners.
