Professor Divine Ahadzie, Head of the Department of the Centre for Settlements Studies of the College of Art and Built environment(CABE) has been awarded an international Journal of Project Management Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing. The certificate was awarded in cooperation with the Association for Project Management and the International Project Management Association.
Prof. Ahadzie’s award is in recognition of the contributions he’ has made to the quality of the Journal.
In a statement from the Editors of International Journal of Project Management, Elsevier, The Netherlands, it states” You have been awarded this recognition as you are the top 10th percentile of reviewers for the Journal, in terms of the number of manuscript reviews completed in the last two years”.
In an exclusive interview with Irene Sakyiwaa-Siaw of the University Relations Office(URO), he stated that his award is a great achievement for the University as a whole in the promotion of knowledge and it is a credit to have a staff of the University review a top international Journal as there are a few reviewers from developing countries.
Professor Ahadzie has served as reviewer for the International Journal of Project Management for six (6) years. In addition, he reviews the Journal of Construction Management and Economics and Journal of Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management. He is also an editorial member of Structural Survey; Journal of Building Pathology and Refurbishment.
