The Head of the Department of Food Science and Technology of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Isaac W. Ofosu has bemoaned the spate of dwindling nutrients in our locally made dishes. According to him, the various forms of food processing such as roasting, retorting, grilling, frying among others is largely to blame.

Agri Ghana e.V has donated programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The President, Mr. Kelly Carvin, donated the equipment on behalf of their organisation.

The Technology Consultancy Centre (TCC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has won a grant of £200,000 from the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE), UK, to support industry-relevant capacity building in tertiary institutions for a two-year period.

The Minister of State in charge of Tertiary Education, Professor Kwesi Yankah, has called on private hostel developers to urgently consider building and operating private hostels at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). This he said, would help accommodate the expected large numbers of the first batch of Free Senior High School graduates.

The University of Nebraska Medical Centre (UNMC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST) to establish cooperation between faculty members of both institutions. The objective is to explore potential collaborative projects in teaching, research and clinical healthcare.

The School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has organised a workshop for its faculty members dubbed ‘Manuscript Writing in a Poor-resource Setting. The workshop aimed at introducing participants to best practices in manuscript writing, peer review, grammar and plagiarism checks in their publications.
