Call for Applications for the Fondazione Edu (Edu Foundation) Scholarship for the 2025/2026 Academic Year

Fondazione Edu, a partner organization based in Italy, is offering scholarships to Brilliant but needy university students in collaboration with KNUST to help them pursue their education. 

Eligibility

The Scholarship is open to ONLY  1st and 2nd Year Students of the University, pursuing REGULAR full-time programmes.

  • All applicants must be Regular Ghanaian Students.
  • First Year Applicants must have a WASSCE result with aggregate 12 or better
  • Continuing students must have a CWA of 65 and above
  • Beneficiaries of other scholarships above GHȻ 1,500.00 are not eligible to apply.

Requirements

All Applicants are to include the following documents; 

  • Admission Letter
  • WASSCE Results Slip 
  • Senior High School Transcripts
  • Complete university transcript (2nd Year Applicants)
  • At least Two (2) Recommendation Letters
  • Awards and Certificates (If Any)
  • Applicant’s Birth Certificate (Birth certificate of siblings, national ID, etc.)
  • Parents Proof of Income (Audited Statement of Income, Salary Pay slips, Susu Savings Card/Booklet for the past 6 months, Affidavit of Unemployment and Lack of Income Documentation etc.)
  • Documents/evidence to establish the relationship with siblings

Two Separate Essays

  • An essay explaining why you should be considered for the scholarship.
  • An essay explaining why you chose your current programme of study

Mode of Application

  • All applicants must complete the online registration before submitting the required documents via (HERE!)
  • Application Form should be downloaded via (HERE!)

Please Note 

  • All documents must be in a sealed envelope with the Applicant’s Name, Reference Number, Programme and Phone Number boldly written on it.
  • Submission of documents should be made at the Students Support and Financial Services Office (Room 19) at the Directorate of Student Affairs, J Harper Building, Commercial Area.
  • Any write-up should be typed in the font Times New Roman, font size 12 and double-spaced.
  • No Application will be accepted after the deadline.
  • Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview.

Closing Date for Submission of Forms

  • All Applicants are to submit their applications on or before Friday, 30th January, 2026.
