Call for Professional Training Facilitators on Entrepreneurship Competency for Women Entrepreneurs

The O.R Tambo Africa Research Chair Initiative (ORTARChI) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) invites eligible candidates from KNUST and other higher education institutions in Ghana to apply to join a team of facilitators to provide training on Entrepreneurship Competency for women entrepreneurs in Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Background

This O.R Tambo Africa Research Chair Initiative (ORTARChI) is one of the 10 Research Chairs launched by the National Research Foundation of South Africa on October 27, 2020, as part of the 2020 Tambo Month Celebration. The O.R Tambo Research Chair at KNUST has an overall objective of collaborating with academics, industry, and government in Africa and beyond to enhance applied research in technology entrepreneurship and employability, engage relevant technology entrepreneurship stakeholders for research translation, strengthen and expand postgraduate education in the areas of health, agriculture, and inclusive finance technology entrepreneurship.

As part of our deliverables, we are to provide professional training to women entrepreneurs in Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa. For this training, the ORTARChI Chair at KNUST has developed entrepreneurship training modules to carry out this mandate. These modules are to equip women entrepreneurs with technical entrepreneurial business management and essential auxiliary skills.

Qualification

Successful applicants must have appreciable knowledge and experience in the related topical areas provided below:
