The Council Members of Unity Hall have paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor Professor William Otoo Ellis. They presented a citation to congratulate the Vice-Chancellor on his appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor William Otoo Ellis acknowledged the kind gesture of the Council members and offered suggestions on activities the hall could include in their impending hall week celebrations to elevate the image of the hall.
He said, the hall could organize communal labour, where students would clean the nearby communities of the University. He also suggested that, the hall could form reading clubs in the various schools of nearby communities. He emphasized that; the main focus of the Unity Hall celebrations should be society oriented to touch lives. He stated that, the hall would impact the society positively through projects that would develop the society.
In an interview, the hall president Mr. Thomas Nuamah Yeboah encouraged his fellow Unity Hall members to participate in the activities marking of the Hall week celebrations. He also sent a warm message to invite the alumni of the hall to the celebrations.
Present at the meeting were the Hall President - Thomas Nuamah Yeboah , Senior Tutor - Dr. Isaac Frimpong Mensah Bonsu, Hall Master - Dr. Ing. Collins Fosu, Bursar - Mr. Osei Bonsu, Hall Manager - Mr. Patrick Afram Grant and JCR Secretary - Prince Adade. Other Council Members present were Mr. Obiri Yeboah, Dr. Ahmad Addo and Dr. Wilson Agyare, all lecturers.
