The Overall Best Graduand in the College of Art and Social Sciences, Joseph Antwi Kusi has been awarded an educational scholarship worth 6,950 British pounds. The Tasmac London School of Business through its benevolence presented the scholarship on the occasion of the 44th Congregation ceremony.
The scholarship which is equivalent to 12,600 Ghana Cedis is to help Joseph Antwi Kusi, a First Class Banking and Finance graduate pursue a Masters Degree at Tasmac London School of Business.
The Rector of the Tasmac London School of Business, Prof. Marshall Hall acknowledged the cordial relationship that exists between the University of Wales London and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He hoped the award will motivate other students to excel in their fields of study.
In his valedictory speech, Joseph Antwi Kusi was grateful for the honour done him. He challenged his fellow graduands to dream about the nation and not only about themselves. He said, they must do their best to improve their lives, as well as the socio-economic well being of the nation and themselves. He advised them to strive to make money through fair means and to put God first in all their endeavours.
