The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi has held an outreach session at Mfantsiman Girls' Senior High School in Cape Coast to educate students on university admissions and academic opportunities.
Led by Charles Asamoah-Boateng, Deputy Registrar of the Admissions Office, the team introduced prospective applicants to KNUST’s offerings across six colleges, including Engineering, Science, Art and Built Environment, Humanities and Social Sciences, Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Health Sciences.
Officials provided detailed guidance on entry requirements, with emphasis on meeting WASSCE aggregate benchmarks.
Students also received advice on selecting programmes that align with their interests, academic strengths, and career goals.
The initiative forms part of KNUST’s ongoing efforts to support informed decision-making among senior high school students ahead of tertiary admissions.
