Thanks to businessman and aviation enthusiast Ibrahim Mahama, the young scholar was invited aboard a private jet, an unforgettable opportunity that brought him closer to his aviation aspirations.
Melchizedek has been passionate about aviation from a young age. His aspirations caught the attention of Ibrahim Mahama, who was impressed by his academic achievements, including earning 5 As and 3 Bs in WASSCE at just 13.
Mahama, known for his support of youth empowerment, decided to offer Melchizedek a rare chance to experience aviation firsthand.
During the flight, Mahama shared insights into the aviation industry and the path to becoming a pilot.
Melchizedek was even invited into the cockpit, where he learned about the technical operations of an aircraft.
In addition to the flight, Mahama pledged to cover all of Melchizedek’s tuition and academic expenses at KNUST, ensuring he has the support to achieve his full potential.

Background
Melchizedek became one of the youngest undergraduates at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) at just 13 years old.
With an impressive A1 in five subjects, including Physics and Mathematics, at the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), Melchizedek’s decided pursue a bachelor’s degree in Physics at KNUST.
His decision was driven by the desire to explore his interests further before deciding whether to revisit his dream of becoming a pilot.
