The Gaudette Institute (TGI) has donated essential school supplies to pupils of Appiadu R/C Primary School in the Ashanti Region.
The donation, which included bags, exercise books, pens, pencils, and other learning materials, aims to alleviate the burden on parents and enhance the quality of education of the pupils.
The handover ceremony took place on the school premises. Representing TGI were Prof. Marian Asantewah Nkansah, Director of Student Affairs at KNUST and CEO of TGI, and Ms. Patricia Korang Nkansah, the Executive Secretary. They were warmly received by the Headmistress, staff and pupils.
Prof. Nkansah reiterated the organisation’s commitment to supporting education in underserved communities.
“We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, and we are committed to supporting schools in underserved communities. This donation is our way of contributing to the academic success of these bright young minds,” she stated.
The school management expressed their gratitude for the donation, noting that it would go a long way in motivating both students and teachers.
The excited pupils thanked the donors, promising to make good use of the materials to excel in their studies.
