In line with the vision to Support One Needy Student with One Laptop dubbed ‘SONSOL Project,’ an initiative by Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickon, the Vice-Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Andysarp Home and Office Furniture together with Multinec Enterprise has donated 8-brand new Hp laptop computers to support the SONSOL Project on the 24th of February 2022.
Mr. Andrews Sarpong, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Andysarp, presenting the laptops on behalf of the two companies emphasized that KNUST has been a valuable partner to them over the years, thus, it is in order to assist the Institution to support brilliant but needy students with the laptops to help them in their online studies.
Receiving the laptops, the Vice-Chancellor thanked Andysarp and Multinec Enterprise for aiding the University. She assured them of KNUST’s commitment to ensure that the laptops are given to genuine needy students who meet the required criteria for such support.
She also promised on behalf of the students that the laptops would be utilised for their intended purposes and keep them in good shape. She, further, solicited more help from philanthropists and other organisations.
Present at donation was the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ellis Owusu-Dabo and Mr. Isaac Gyeku, CEO of Multinec Enterprise.
