The Kosmos Innovation Centre (KIC) in collaboration with the Centre for Business Development (CBD) of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has launched the 2022 KIC AgriTech Challenge Classic. The Challenge targets tertiary students and graduates who have innovative business ideas in agriculture and wish to acquire the requisite tools, skills, and support to develop their ideas into viable, sustainable and successful businesses.
In this regard, interview sessions to access applicants and their applications for consideration for funding opportunity were held at the KNUST Innovation Hub on May 9, 2022. The candidates, who showed up in their numbers and with optimism, commended KIC and CBD for initiating such a ground-breaking challenge that encourages young innovators and entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector to do more.
