2019 Special Congregation

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi announces for the information of 2019 Graduands and the General Public that it would hold its 2019 Special Congregation on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2019.

GRADUANDS who completed their programmes of study in October, 2019 would be presented at the Ceremony. Additionally, those who sat for the supplementary examinations in August, 2019 and passed would be presented. Accordingly, those to be presented should register and pay GHC 300.00 at any of the following banks: ECOBANK, GCB, UBA, CAL BANK, REPUBLIC BANK, Standard Chartered Bank, BARCLAYS BANK, CONSOLIDATED BANK and GT BANK GHANA. After payment, Graduands are to log onto the KNUST Students’ Portal (apps.knust.edu.gh/students) or the KNUST AIM Mobile App and print their receipt which should be presented at the Estate Office to collect Academic Robes and other Graduation items.

The graduation fee covers Congregation Publications, Hiring of Academic Gowns, Official Photographs, Certificate Holders, University Souvenirs, Administrative Costs, etc.

Graduands are required to provide the following information at the Bank:

  1. Name of Graduand
  2. Programme of Study
  3. Examination Index Number
  4. Student ID Number
  5. Graduand’s Contact Address
  6. Telephone/Cell phone Number and
  7. Email Address

GRADUANDS should be seated THIRTY (30) MINUTES before the commencement of each Programme in the Academic Dress appropriate to the Programme of Study or College and worn preferably over a suit/jacket or other suitable but decent dress.

Rehearsal

Graduands attending the Congregation would rehearse as follows:

Wednesday: 27th November, 2019 at 1400 Hours: For those attending on Thursday, 28th November, 2019

Thursday: 28th November, 2019 at 1700 Hours: For those attending on Friday, 29th November, 2019.
