The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi announces for the information of 2018 Graduands and the General Public that it would hold its 2018 Special Congregation on Friday, February 01, 2019 - Saturday, February 02, 2019.

GRADUANDS who completed their programmes of study in October, 2018 would be presented at the Ceremony. Additionally, those who sat for the re-sit examinations in August, 2018 and passed would be presented. Accordingly, those to be presented should register and pay GHC300.00 at any of the following banks: ECOBANK, GCB, UBA, CAL BANK, REPUBLIC BANK (HFC), BARCLAYS BANK, CONSOLIDATED BANK, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK and GT BANK GHANA, (however, DIPLOMA GRADUANDS are to pay GHC250.00) and present the payment slip at their VARIOUS COLLEGES to collect Academic Robes and other Graduation items. However, Graduands of KNUST School of Business, Faculty of Law, College of Health Sciences and the Institute of Distance Learning are to present their payment slips at the Casely-Hayford Building (IDL) for their gowns and other items.

The graduation fee covers Congregation Publications, Hiring of Academic Gowns, Official Photographs, Certificate Holders, University Souvenirs, Administrative Costs, etc.

Graduands are required to provide the following information at the Bank:

• Name of Graduand
• Programme of Study
• Examination Index Number
• Student ID Number
• Graduand’s Contact Address
• Telephone / Cell phone Number
• Email Address

GRADUANDS should be seated THIRTY (30) MINUTES before the commencement of each Programme in the Academic Dress appropriate to the Programme of Study or College and worn preferably over a suit/jacket or other suitable but decent dress.

REHEARSAL

Graduands attending the Congregation would rehearse as follows:

Thursday: 31st January, 2019 at 1600 Hours: For those attending on Friday, 1st February, 2019

Friday: 1st February, 2019 at 1700 Hours: For those attending on Saturday, 2nd February, 2019.
