A medical outreach team known as Seattle-Kumasi Advocacy for Team Cleft Care in Africa (SKATCA) which emanated from a collaboration between KNUST and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH)
The Vice-Chancellor has urged various Departments of the University to undertake income generating projects to help finance their programmes in this era of dwindling government subvention.
The University Library has launched its Strategic Plan dubbed “ULSP 2K14” at the Great Hall Conference Room. The Plan embodied the achievements, the challenges facing the Library and the measures put in place to overcome those challenges. The launch of the Strategic Plan was also purported to serve as a platform strengthen existing partnerships between the University Library and other stakeholders, and also forge new ones.
