      <title>KNUST Commissions Fire Station</title>

      <description>Wed, 22 May 2013, 12:00:00 AM&lt;p&gt;KNUST and the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) have officially commissioned a Modern fire station and a fire tender at KNUST. The fire station, located near the KNUST Hospital is equipped with a functioning fire tender which was donated by the government of Ghana. The GH&amp;cent;55,277.50 project was funded by the university in collaboration with the GNFS. A guard of honour was mounted to welcome the Ashanti Regional Commander of the GNFS, Mr. Philip Aheng-Mensah.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>Tue, 21 May 2013, 12:00:00 AM&lt;p&gt;Under the auspices of Building Stronger Universities (BSU), the Danish coordinator of the Environment and Climate Platform of BSU, Dr. Susanne Lildal Amsinck and the Engineering College of Aarhus University in Denmark have donated some equipment to the College of Engineering. The local students&amp;rsquo; branch of the humanitarian organization Engineers Without Borders facilitated the donation as a result of correspondence between the IPO, Prof. Carl Jakobsen of Aarhus University and Dr. K. O. Boateng of the College of Engineering. &amp;nbsp;The equipment forms part of donations from Danish&amp;nbsp;universities and companies.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

He was the General Officer Commanding, Northern Command of the Ghana Army from July, 2011 to March, 2013. During this period he worked closely with KNUST to ensure peace and safety on the KNUST campus and its environs.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>School Of Veterinary Medicine Gets New Bus</title>

The new 30 seater Nissan Coaster bus was donated by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND). Professor William Otoo Ellis officially handed the key of the bus to Dr. Raphael D. Folitse, Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine. Professor Ellis thanked the GETFUND for their continous support for the School and the University as a whole. He also tasked the school to take good care of the bus and to use it for the intended purpose.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Frimpong, Dean of KNUST School of Business and Prof. Obiri Danso, Dean of the International Programmes Office. The discussions centered on possible ways of improving and maintaining an effective Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at KNUST.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Art Lecturer Receives Outstanding Coordinator's Award</title>

He received the award, a certificate and a citation, at the first World Wood Day (WWD) and International Day of Forests (IDF) celebration hosted by the IWCS in Karimjee Hall, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The celebration was aimed at raising awareness on cultural approaches to achieving the theme, &amp;ldquo;Wood is Good&amp;rdquo;.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title> FUSSAG (KNUST) Cuts Sod for Staff Quarters</title>

The tape was cut and a royal palm tree was planted on the &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;site to signify the commencement of the project.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
