46^TH CONGREGATION AUGUST 2012

 
THE KWAME NKRUMAH UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY announces for the information of 2012 Graduands and the General Public that it would hold its 46^th Congregation at the Great Hall/Colleges of the University from THURSDAY 16 AUGUST, to SATURDAY 18 AUGUST, 2012. 

GRADUANDS who completed their Programmes of Study in May 2012 would be presented at the Ceremony.  Accordingly, those who wish to be presented are requested to register and pay GH¢120.00 in CASH at any ECOBANK BRANCH on or before FRIDAY AUGUST 10, 2012, and present the Payment Slip at the GREAT HALL FOYER to collect their Academic Robes and other Graduation items. This amount covers Congregation Publications, Hiring of Academic Gowns, Official Photographs, Certificate Folders, University Souvenirs and Administrative Costs.  No registration would be accepted after the deadline. Graduands are required to provide the following at the Bank:

Those to be presented would be expected to be seated THIRTY (30) MINUTES before the commencement of each Programme in the Academic Dress appropriate to their Programme of Study or College and worn preferably over a suit/jacket with a University Tie/Scarf or other suitable but decent dress.

PHOTOGRAPHS

A Professional Photographic Company has been assigned to take photographs of every Graduand to be presented at the Congregation. No Photographers would be allowed inside the Great Hall.

CONGREGATION THANKSGIVING SERVICE

A Congregation Thanksgiving Service would be held at the Great Hall on Sunday, August 19, 2012, from 9000 – 1000 Hours.

REHEARSAL AT THE GREAT HALL

(For Graduands attending the Congregation would be as follows:)

• Graduands who fail to attend Rehearsals shall not be presented at the Congregation.

• Graduands who do not attend the Congregation shall be required to pay the FULL Congregation Fees before receiving their Certificates and other Congregation materials.

• GRADUANDS SHOULD TAKE NOTE OF THE DATES, TIME AND VENUE FOR THEIR    GRADUATION, RESPECTIVELY.
